Connecting your Anova UTM to the Rotarex ELG

Compatibility Guidance for Anova Customers using Manchester Tanks

Your Manchester Tank ships with a factory-installed Rotarex ELG fitted with a Bluetooth sensor
head. Anova is actively developing its next-generation tank monitor and does not offer a Bluetooth compatible
monitor at this time.

In the interim — estimated through the end of 2026 — Anova offers an Adapter Kit which can be
installed in minutes that lets you connect this tank to the Anova UTM today. No new monitor
purchase is required. Our Customer Success team is available to coordinate shipments.

WHAT'S IN THE ADAPTER KIT

Each kit contains two components:

COMPONENT 1
Wired Rotarex sensor head
A direct replacement for the factory Bluetooth
sensor head, fitted with a wired connection.

COMPONENT 2
Anova UTM cable
Connects the wired sensor head directly to the
Anova UTM tank monitor.

INSTALLING THE ADAPTER KIT

The swap requires only a screwdriver. Follow the five-step sensor-head replacement below, then
connect and configure the UTM.
1. Swap the sensor head. Remove the factory Bluetooth head and fit the wired replacement using
the five steps shown below.
2. Connect the cable. Attach the Anova UTM cable from the new wired sensor head to the UTM.
3. Configure as a new device. Follow your standard Anova UTM installation guide for the Rotarex CStic
(same cable) to activate and commission the monitor — no special steps are needed.
