Overview
This guide explains how to filter tanks by specific criteria, save the filtered view as a report, and schedule it to be sent to external contacts.
Steps
1. Filter Tanks
- Navigate to the Tanks List tab under Operations.
- Click the dropper icon on the tab you want to filter.
- Choose a filter type:
- Is: Exact match.
- Contains / Not Contains: Partial match.
- Example: Filter by
Poolto display only tanks named like it.
2. Save as a New Report
- Click Actions → Save as a New Report.
- In the pop-up window:
- Enter a report name.
- Click Create Report.
- The report is now saved with your filtered values.
3. Schedule the Report
- Go to Reports → New Scheduled Report.
- Complete the required fields:
- Report Target: Select Tanks.
- Other targets are for alerts or maintenance cases.
- Click Continue.
4. Add Recipients
- Under Send To, select New Contact Group.
- Enter:
- Contact Group Name.
- Email addresses in the Contacts field (press Enter after each).
- This allows sending reports to external contacts without Unify accounts.
5. Configure Schedule
- Select:
- Time Zone.
- Frequency (daily, weekly, etc.).
- Time for delivery.
6. Confirm and Create
- Review the summary on the confirmation page.
- Optionally, send a test report to yourself.
- Click Create Report to finalize.
